With the unofficial start of the summer season, the casinos in Atlantic City are ready to welcome new and returning visitors. This year could be better than last year due to the capital investments made by casinos across the city. Visitors will be pleased to know that the beach restoration project along the northern end of the Boardwalk has been completed.

Casinos invest millions in capital expenditures

With the rise of online gaming, land-based casinos are increasingly investing in renovations and upgrades to attract new customers and keep current ones. Different from physical casinos, a New Jersey online casino offers the benefit of being able to play casino games from any location and at any time.

Casinos invested over $200 million in capital expenditures last year. Over the past five years, they have invested over a billion dollars in projects. They are modernizing existing amenities, adding new ones, and focusing on specific customer segments. Many of them are incorporating new themes such as Asian-themed gaming spaces. They want to offer the type of experiences that people can’t resist.
